Disney Love

So for those who don't know, I have a Tumblr.

Recently there have been more and more confession Tumblrs, where a certain movie, tv show, or franchise has a special Tumblr for people to post anonymous confessions. (For example, I follow the Bones one, Harry Potter one, and the Game of Thrones one.)

I decided to see if there was a Disney one, and there is! Believe me, I was SUPER excited! I love Disney movies, and ended up reading every single confessions they've already posted, and reblogging quite a few.

As I read some of them, I realized there are a lot of Disney movies I've never seen. I looked up a master list of all the movies, and surprised just how many there are that I haven't seen!

Which lead me to make a new goal for this year: I plan to watch every single Disney movie ever made, in order. Even the unpopular ones, and the ones I've already seen.

After all, can I be a true Disney fan if I still have so many to see?

What are your guys' favorite Disney movies?

Blog Bash Intro Post!

I'm participating in Brittany and Hannah's 2011 blog bash! I'm a few days late in posting this, but I was on vacation all weekend so I didn't have internet.

If you're a new reader, I'll share a little about myself! If you're an old reader, just bear with me :)

I'm Ariel, and I'm a 20-year-old from Oregon! I love blogging, and currently have three blogs. This one, my book blog The Librarian's Bookshelf, and a private one. I'm attending George Fox University, and am an aspiring librarian! And if you hadn't guessed, I LOVE to read! I have tons of books and I love sharing my love of them with others.

I also love technology! I own two laptops, a Nook, a Nintendo DS, an iPod, and my cell phone of course. I rarely go anywhere without some sort of technology and a book!

On to the questions!

1.) What's your favorite memory from Summer 2011?
Triangle Lake! It was such an awesome weekend, and I love spending time with all my friends!

2.) What's your dream summer vacation?
Paris. Anyone who knows me would not be surprised by this answer :P I LOVE everything to do with France, and especially Paris!

3.) What's your favorite thing to do in the summer?
Read! I love just sitting on my bed and reading all day. I know that makes me sound really lazy, haha! But I also enjoy going on random adventures with my friends :)

4.) What's your "blog goal" for 2011?
To blog more :/ I don't blog on this blog as much as I used to, so I'm hoping to do a lot more on here! I'm also considering do an entire month of vlogging, if I can get enough topics! We'll see :)

5.) Let's hear the story behind your blog title! :)
Well as I said before, I LOVE anything to do with France. I am also a writer, and I tend to write more poems than stories. Thus The French Poet was born :)

If you are stopping by as new follower, leave a link in the comments so I can check your blog out!

Greatest Apartment Ever

I'm a poor college student, so I can't afford much. (I can't even afford all of my textbooks this term!) So when I get my own apartment, I want it to be CHEAP. On Vacancy.com they had a listing for a great apartment, with various floor plans. (Check out the details here.) Depending on the floor plan I would want the price varies, but they are all less than $1000 a month!

I think I would probably choose the two or three bedroom, and have a roommate or two to cut down on costs. One of the reasons this particular apartment caught my eye was that they allow cats! I have a cat now that I will be getting from my best friend's dad, but I can't take her until I get my own place. This is perfect! Also, water, sewage and garbage is all paid in rent costs. And internet is free. That's fantastic, people! All I would have to worry about paying is rent of course, food costs, cat care costs, and whatever car and phone stuff I have. I can totally do that! Especially if I'll be splitting food costs with my roommates.

This place is a great apartment, and I would definitely love to live here. Unfortunately I cannot afford it yet, but I will definitely keep it in mind when I can!

This post is for a scholarship for Vacancy.com. I was asked to write a blog post on a listing and explain why it's perfect for me. I do not plan on moving out anytime soon.
