Planner Spread #4

So this week's planner spread is pretty bare. I didn't even really touch my planner this week, and it's not even fully decorated because I just got lazy.

I didn't do any reading this week like I planned, so my sidebar didn't really work. I'll have to figure out something different this next week.

As you can see, the only things I managed to do this week were IMM for The Librarian's Bookshelf, this planner spread, and kitty litter before I went on vacation. So... basically nothing. Unfortunately I also really hated the washi I used this week because the quality was TERRIBLE. I love the design, so that was a real bummer. But overall, I thought the lack of planning still made it pretty.

This next week I will be back into regular planning, so hopefully next week won't be so boring! Have a great week guys!

Planner Spread #3

Welcome back to this week's planner spread! I didn't do much by way of planning this week, so my to-do lists are pretty lacking. But as far as decorating goes this was my favorite spread so far! Here it is!

Isn't the pink so pretty?? So this week's post looks a little different because I decided to try embedding my Instagram photos directly rather than just uploading the photos. Do you guys prefer this way, or the original way? Let me know in the comments!

Did you like this week's spread? Is there something else I should try? Let me know! Thanks for stopping by!

Planner Spread #2

Ready for this week's planner spread? It's slightly different than last week, mainly because I made a few tweaks to how I will plan future spreads.

First of all, I added a Word of the Week to the lower left part of the page. I plan on focusing on one word or phrase all week, something faith-based that I know I need to work on it my life. I struggled with peace this week, so I haven't decided if I will carry it into next week, or choose something different.

I also added the high/low temperatures for each individual day, just so I can see at a glance how warm the week will be. Since I'm often outside with my kids at work, it's nice to know if I should wear jeans or capris, or if I even need a jacket for the day.

There are still a couple of tasks I didn't end up accomplishing this week. However, I was much more aware of how much time I would have each day, and so I was able to schedule tasks that I knew would get done. The reading day didn't happen simply because it became a Skyrim and cleaning day instead. Also, when I took this picture it was still Saturday, so the vacuuming hadn't been done. It will get done!

Overall, I think this week went much better planning-wise. I snagged one of the new washi tapes from Target and got my EC launch kit with the new markers and stickers, so this next week will probably be a bit more colorful. Be looking for that!

Have a great week guys!

Planner Spread #1: Meet Princess!

Hi everyone! As I mentioned in a previous post, I've ventured into the world of planners and planning. I decided since Sundays are my planning days, I'll share photos of my final planner spread for each week so you can see what I was up to, as well as see how I like to decorate!

This is the first half of this last week. It's hard to tell in this photo, but my work schedule actually changed a bit so I used white-out and re-wrote it. It may seem silly to some people, but I like to look back and actually see what I did on a certain day :P

Faith and Fitness (F & F) is an exercise class that a lady from my church is offering. My mother-in-law and I have been attending together each morning it's offered at 6 am(!) except for Wednesday because I woke up nauseous. It's not fun to work out when your stomach isn't happy!

The middle section is divided into two section for my two blogs: The top half for The Librarian's Bookshelf and the bottom half for Keys to My Life. It's really helped me this week to have posts planned in advance, because I rarely forget them this way!

As you may have noticed, not all of my to-dos for the week are checked. While I did get a lot done this way, this week was rough and busy and altogether insane. I missed a lot of semi-important tasks because of this. However, I'm determined not to let it get to me. I was able to accomplish a lot more this week than I did last week without a planner, so that's definitely progress!

Since I'm just starting out, I don't have a lot of planner supplies. Because of this, my pages have a lot of white space. At first I thought this would really bother me, but I actually enjoy it. It doesn't look so busy to me, and it helps me from stressing about everything I have to do.

I'm excited to keep moving forward with this! I've officially named my planner Princess, and I plan (pun intended) to keep using her from week to week to keep my life from becoming overwhelming!

Thanks for following me on this journey!
