Philosophy.

Why is it we must go through the tough challenges in life? I know it is to shape us, but why must it be the things we dread most? Like sharing your deepest, darkest secret with a friend? Why must we endure that?

    If we never faced the challenges we dreaded most, life would be easy and we would never grow. Part of life is learning how to endure the hardships and learning what God has to teach you from them.
    A friend is the best person you could ever share a secret with, with the sole exception of Jesus Christ. Who better to trust with your deepest, darkest secret than someone who you know will love you and will not judge you no matter what? It may be hard at the time, but it will be worth it in the end. It is by far better to be honest than to worry about what your friend thinks of you. You have already earned the affection of a friend; that is part of what makes you friends in the first place.
